After Mario Party 10 for Wii U and Mario Party: Island Tour for 3DS failed to appeal to consumers, getting mixed reviews, Nintendo has yet to give up on their previously very successful franchise. Today, November 4th, 2016, Mario Party: Star Rush was released for 3DS in North America, along with a brand new line of compatible Amiibo figures.
Super Mario Series: Wave 2 Amiibo consists of: Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Wario, Rosalina, Daisy, Waluigi, and Boo. The Boo Amiibo is the first ever Amiibo to glow in the dark!
Mario Party: Star Rush is priced at $39.99 MSRP.
Each Amiibo figure costs $12.99 MSRP (just like all of the other previously released Amiibo).
Very few reviews have been written about the game, as it just launched today, so it’s hard to tell the public’s general opinion. I’m sure it won’t be long until we start hearing ratings, as well as sales numbers.
Hopefully the reviews are better then the games predecessor.
